Install on Mac

Download Devoxal, grant Microphone and Accessibility, then open the HUD with ⌘`. In the dashboard, Connect your IDE and reload that window once (⌘⇧P → Developer: Reload Window) after the first Sync.

Install on Windows

Download Devoxal for Windows, grant Microphone and Accessibility, wake with Ctrl+Alt+V. Open the dashboard, Connect Cursor or VS Code, then Ctrl+Shift+P → Developer: Reload Window once after the first Sync.

Connect Cursor or VS Code

Open the IDE, open Devoxal dashboard → Connected IDEs → Connect or Sync. After the bridge installs, reload the IDE window: Mac ⌘⇧P, Windows Ctrl+Shift+P → “Developer: Reload Window” → Enter. Sync again until the status bar shows “VoxCodeAI: connected”.

Bridge offline after Sync

If Sync fails or the HUD says bridge offline, the extension likely needs one reload (see Connect above). Voice may still paste into chat; narration and stop need the bridge. Full steps: devoxal.com/faq#sync-bridge

Voice calibration

Complete three short spoken prompts once per account so transcripts match your accent and jargon.

Continue on phone

From the HUD, open Continue on phone, scan the QR, and use the same account. Speak barge-in and hear live narration remotely. Requires Devoxal running on your Mac/PC with the IDE synced — not the same as fixing a local bridge reload.

API keys & billing

Add your OpenAI key in Dashboard → API key. Manage trial and plans under Billing.

How to use Devoxal

Install Devoxal on Mac or Windows, grant Microphone and Accessibility, connect your IDE from the dashboard, reload that IDE window once after the first Sync, calibrate your voice once, then use the wake shortcut to speak tasks and hear live narration.

Pair your phone with QR to continue the same coding-agent session remotely without a keyboard.
